The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) is a multi-venue cultural centre at the tip of Nariman Point, founded in 1969 by J. R. D. Tata and Dr Jamshed Bhabha and built on land reclaimed from the sea. It has five theatres: the 1,109-seat Jamshed Bhabha Theatre for opera, ballet and musicals; the 1,010-seat Tata Theatre, opened in 1982 and known for its acoustics and revolving stage; the 300-seat Experimental
Check which of the five theatres your show is in before you set off; they have separate entrances within the complex. No suburban station is at the door. From Churchgate take a taxi or bus down Marine Drive, or use the Aqua Line's Vidhan Bhavan station, the closest metro stop. Many listings show a lower price for NCPA members, who also get priority booking, so popular concerts can sell out before the public sale gets far.
Details come from the organiser's listing on Ncpa, last checked on 2026-11-03, and can change. Confirm on the ticket page before you go.
