Art Exhibitions & Gallery Events in Mumbai
13 events coming up across Mumbai — mostly art (13). 4 are free.
Mumbai is the centre of India's art market, and most of it can be seen for free. Kala Ghoda in Fort has Jehangir Art Gallery, with four halls and free entry, the National Gallery of Modern Art, which is showing 'Satish Gujral: The Modernist Returns' until 20 November 2026, and the CSMVS museum. Commercial galleries cluster in Colaba, Ballard Estate and Lower Parel. The Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum in Byculla and the Art House at NMACC in BKC mount curated exhibitions, and the Nehru Centre's gallery in Worli gives space to younger artists. The season's two big dates are the Art Mumbai fair at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse on 12–15 November 2026 and the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival from 30 January to 7 February 2027. This page lists exhibitions, openings, art walks and talks.
