About Mumbai Football Arena (Andheri Sports Complex)
The Mumbai Football Arena is the football stadium inside the municipal Andheri Sports Complex, formally the Shahaji Raje Bhosale Kreeda Sankul, on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West. Mumbai City FC has used it as its home ground since the 2016 Indian Super League season, and the ground was upgraded with bucket seating ahead of the 2022–23 season. The wider complex has a swimming pool, indoor halls and other sports facilities. Before it became a dedicated football venue, the ground was famous for concerts: Michael Jackson played here on 1 November 1996 on his HIStory World Tour, and Bon Jovi also performed. Today it is used mainly for ISL fixtures, football tournaments and sports events.
