Things to do in Malad & Kandivali

Malad and Kandivali are family suburbs where events centre on malls and housing-society grounds. Inorbit Mall in Malad, the chain's first when it opened in 2004, and Infiniti Mall host festive carnivals, kids' workshops and brand pop-ups, and the Mindspace office district brings after-work comedy and quiz nights to the bars around it. Malad's coast runs to Aksa beach and Madh Island, whose bungalows are rented for shoots and private parties. Navratri is a major season here, with garba grounds across both suburbs. Malad and Kandivali are on the Western Line, with the Yellow Line (2A) to the west and the Red Line (7) along the highway.
