About R City Mall
R City is a large mall on LBS Marg in Ghatkopar West, spread over about 1.2 million square feet with more than 250 stores, a multiplex and food and entertainment zones. It opened in 2009 and was developed by Runwal. For families its main draw is KidZania Mumbai, India's first KidZania, which opened here in August 2013: an indoor miniature city where children aged 4 to 16 role-play adult jobs. The mall also runs festive decorations, weekend workshops, character meet-and-greets and seasonal carnivals in its atria, and it serves as the main mall for Ghatkopar, Vikhroli and Powai. Weekends and school holidays are its busiest periods.
