Art Mumbai 2026: 12–15 November, Mahalaxmi Racecourse

Art Mumbai, the city's own art fair, holds its 2026 edition from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, according to the organisers' announcement. The fair brings 73 Indian and 21 international galleries to the racecourse, six of the international galleries for the first time, alongside a programme of talks, guided walks, sculpture and performances. It is a commercial fair, so the booths show work for sale, from modern Indian masters to contemporary painting, photography, sculpture and design, but you do not need to be a collector to go: tickets are sold to the public, and at fairs of this kind the opening hours are normally reserved for invited guests. Fair week is also the busiest of the year for Mumbai's galleries, with openings across Colaba, Kala Ghoda, Ballard Estate and Lower Parel timed to coincide.
