About G5A Warehouse
G5A Warehouse is an independent arts space in a converted warehouse in the Laxmi Mills estate, off Shakti Mills Lane in Mahalaxmi. Run by the not-for-profit G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture, it describes itself as a home for experimental and independent arts practice. Its black-box room is used for contemporary theatre, music, dance, audiovisual performance, film screenings, readings and talks, and the organisation also runs a city-focused research programme and publishes the arts magazine Imprint. Audiences are small and close to the performers, programmes often include a conversation with the artists, and the calendar favours new and cross-disciplinary work over touring commercial shows. An audiovisual performance, 'No Sky is Without Light', is on its calendar for 14 October.
