Nerul and Seawoods form Navi Mumbai's sport and shopping node. DY Patil Stadium in Nerul, a 45,300-seat cricket ground inaugurated in 2008, has hosted IPL and Women's Premier League matches, the 2025 Women's World Cup final and concerts by U2, Justin Bieber and Coldplay. Nexus Seawoods, built around Seawoods–Darave station as a transit-oriented development, is the area's main mall, with a multiplex, arcades and exhibition space for pop-ups. Wonders Park and the wetlands off Palm Beach Road, where flamingos gather in winter, are family outings. Nerul and Seawoods–Darave are on the Harbour Line, and Nerul is also on the Trans-Harbour Line from Thane.
