Spiritual Events, Kirtans & Satsangs in Mumbai
16 events coming up across Mumbai — mostly spiritual (16).
Mumbai's places of worship are among its most visited landmarks: the Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi, the Mahalaxmi Temple, Haji Ali Dargah on its causeway in the sea, Mount Mary Basilica in Bandra and Banganga Tank at Walkeshwar, built in 1127. Around them runs a full calendar of devotional events. ISKCON's temples at Juhu and Girgaon Chowpatty hold kirtans and festival celebrations, Sri Shanmukhananda Hall and other auditoriums host bhajan concerts and discourses by visiting teachers, and satsangs and meditation sessions take place in halls and community centres across the suburbs. The Global Vipassana Pagoda at Gorai teaches Vipassana meditation. The largest gatherings come with festivals: Ganeshotsav, Navratri, Mahashivratri, Ramzan and Eid, the Mount Mary feast in September and Christmas. This page lists kirtans, satsangs, discourses, retreats and festival observances across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.

Are spiritual events free?
Most satsangs, kirtans and temple programmes are free. Concerts by well-known devotional singers and residential retreats are usually ticketed or need registration.
When can I visit Haji Ali Dargah?
The dargah is reached by a causeway that is submerged at high tide, so it is accessible only at low tide. Check tide timings before you go.
Is there a dress code?
Dress modestly at all religious venues. You will be asked to remove footwear at temples and dargahs and to cover your head at gurdwaras and some shrines.
