Things to do in Dadar & Prabhadevi

Dadar is where the Western and Central lines meet, and it is the centre of Marathi cultural life in the city. Shivaji Park, the island city's largest park at 28 acres, is a cricket nursery by day and a ground for rallies, festival lighting and community gatherings. Shivaji Mandir stages Marathi plays, and in Prabhadevi the Ravindra Natya Mandir and the P. L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy host theatre, music and dance. The Siddhivinayak Temple and Dadar's flower market draw their own crowds, and Chaityabhoomi receives lakhs of visitors on 6 December. The Aqua Line has stations at Dadar, Siddhivinayak and Shitaladevi Mandir.
